Mobile Giving Foundation Canada (MGFC) respects your privacy. MGFC establishes guidelines around the use of the mobile channel in connection to charitable donations and adheres to a strong privacy policy.

MGFC is a non-profit organization and a registered charity that distributes or grants your donation to the Registered Charity identified by you through your text message donation. The delivery of donations and the receipts thereof are enabled through MGFC’s third party technology providers: Olson and Bandsintown. MGFC does not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to other companies or individuals. MGFC may use information collected through its services and website for research and development purposes. However, such usage will not include any personally identifiable information in such research or analysis. Your information is used only for its intended purposes. By completing the donation transaction, you give MGFC permission to provide your contact information to the charity (ies) you supported. If you do not wish to share any personal information with the charity, please contact us. MGFC uses industry-leading Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) technology to keep your personal information as secure as possible.

MGFC will also use your information to provide you with a donation record and may occasionally send you updates about or from your favorite charities. If at any time you would like to correct and/or remove your information, please contact us at [email protected].
